The Story of the ZZA’s Sign

Since 1988, ZZA'S has offered authentic Italian cuisine featuring fresh, seasonal ingredients from the finest local purveyors. We bake our bread in a vintage pizza oven, which like our famous sign, came from Ravazza's restaurant in Emeryville. We also make our own desserts and fresh pastas, and offer an ever-changing selection of daily specials. ZZA'S wine list is also innovative and adventuresome, offering outstanding bottles from Italy , California and other wine regions, plus many wines by the glass. We constantly taste new wines, and search out the best values. ZZA'S T-shirts are another great tradition. They can only be earned, not purchased, with one "stamp" awarded for each entree served in the restaurant.

Lunch : Monday-Friday 11:30am-3:00pm
Dinner : Sunday-Thursday 5:00pm-9:30pm
Dinner : Friday & Saturday 4:00pm-10:00pm
Brunch : Saturday & Sunday 11:00am-4:00pm
